Two projects produced by La Coctelera Music, “Punk in Translation” and “Huesca 858”, have been nominated for the II Ondas Globales Podcast Awards, organized by PRISA Audio and Cadena SER. Of the 1,178 candidates who applied for the 2023 edition, the jury chose a total of 65 podcasts from 18 countries organized into 13 categories.

“Punk in Translation”, an Audible original bilingual podcast co-produced by Fresh Produce Media, is nominated in the Best International Non-Hispanic Language Podcast category. This series, exclusively available on Audible, seeks to challenge classic punk stereotypes and shows the crucial role that Latinx artists played in the gestation and evolution of the genre.

While “Huesca 858: Los Caminos De Santiago en el Alto Aragón”, a podcast from the Provincial Council of Huesca for the International Festival on the Camino de Santiago, which came out on July 25, has been nominated in the Best Branded category.

The Ondas Globales Podcast Awards were born to give visibility to the podcast industry and recognizing the work of its professionals, their creativity and innovation. They are currently positioned as the great meeting of the Spanish-speaking sector. The awards are part of the Ondas de Radio Barcelona, which are considered the most prestigious radio and television awards given in Spain.
