Las Cosmos podcast bonus episode – The story behind Las Cosmos and its creator, Nuria Net
How do you build a community that unites the Latin diaspora in Spain? What does it mean to be Cosmolatine? In this episode, Nuria Net, an internationally renowned journalist and podcast producer, shares her story: from her childhood between Barcelona and Puerto Rico, through New York, Miami, and Barcelona, to her current life in Madrid with her hybrid family.
Nuria discusses how her passion for storytelling, her search for identity, and her desire to create a community led her to create Las Cosmos, a space that celebrates and amplifies the Latin experience in Spain.
In its first season, Las Cosmos Podcast has become the go-to podcast for Latinos in Spain. From emerging artists to pioneers in the arts, each guest has shared their unique experiences about migration, identity, and creativity, highlighting the global impact of the Latin diaspora. Special thanks to our guests:
- Mela Pabón, known for her character Madame Mela, with whom we discussed creative blocks and her personal journey, which also gave title to her episode “The Last Horoscope of Madame Mela.”
- LuisLo from Çantamarta, who shared his journey from playing covers in the streets of Granada to signing with Rimas, Bad Bunny’s label, and the influence of his Colombian, Venezuelan, and Spanish roots on his music.

Additionally, Las Cosmos organizes meetups and events in Spain to further strengthen the Cosmolatine community, bringing together creatives and dreamers in a space where every story finds its voice.
